The analysis of the state of the hop industry in Ukraine, the USA, China and the EU countries has been carried out.The reasons for the decline of the industry in Ukraine in the last three decades have been determined.Among them noted: the scientific unreasonableness of the dispersal of hop plantations and integrated valuable assets of hops; the change of ownership through the sale of breweries to foreign companies, which led to the separation of the industry from domestic sensationnel kiyari producers of hop products; taking a monopoly position on the market by the owners of large breweries and using for the production of beer mainly imported raw materials.
